Le <strong>Pixel Font<\/strong> (a volte definite \u2018bitmap fonts\u2019) nascono proprio dalla necessit\u00e0 di rendere leggibili scritte di dimensioni ridottissime, solitamente le note di copyright situate in fondo ad ogni sito oppure le voci di men\u00f9 laterali di larghezza particolarmente contenuta.<br \/>\nPixel font: cosa sono e come si usano&#8230;<\/p>\n<div class=\"splash\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.desmm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/pixel_font.gif\" alt=\"pixel font\"  border=\"0\"\/><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->Il vero problema \u00e8 capire <strong>come si usano<\/strong> e soprattutto dove trovare siti che le mettano a <strong>disposizione gratuitamente<\/strong>. Per quanto riguarda il primo aspetto, senza voler approfondire eccessivamente (per chi volesse, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.minifonts.com\/tips.html\">questa <\/a>pagina lo spiega in modo estremamente dettagliato), si pu\u00f2 dire sinteticamente che le <strong>Pixel Font<\/strong> vanno usate nei programmi di grafica con le seguente impostazioni:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>immagine con <strong>72 DPI <\/strong>di risoluzione<\/li>\n<li><strong>utilizzare la cosiddetta \u2018design size\u2019<\/strong> (ovvero la grandezza di default, solitamente 7 px) specificandola in pixel e non points<\/li>\n<li><strong>eliminare l\u2019anti-alias<\/strong> o font smoothing dalle opzioni del font<\/li>\n<li>salvare l\u2019immagine in <strong>GIF <\/strong>per preservare la nitidezza<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Per quanto riguarda la reperibilit\u00e0 di <strong>Pixel Font<\/strong>, il discorso si complica.
