Dopo che se ne \u00e8 parlato un po in tutti i blog ecco che appare il blog ufficiale delle mappe di Google, che comprende argomentazioni su Google Maps<\/a> Google Earth<\/a> e Local Business Center<\/a>.
\nIl nuovo blog che trovate all’indirizzo google-latlong.blogspot.com<\/a>, parte subito con delle suggestive ma allo stesso tempo agghiaccianti immagini di cosa di come \u00e8 stato cancellato un intero paese da un un tornado scala F5<\/a>, le immagini sono prese prima e dopo l’accaduto….<\/p>\n

Vi siete mai chiesti come sono state scattate le immagini di Google Earth<\/strong>, quindi anche quelle di Google Maps<\/strong>? Evidentemente molte sono immagini satellitari altre sono scattate dall’aereo. Leggendo su Bendetto Blog<\/a> ho trovato la risposta:<\/p>\n

E\u2019 interessante notare quali sono i metodi utilizzati per acquisire le fotografie: sono utilizzati i pi\u00f9 disparati mezzi, come gli scontati aerei<\/strong> e satelliti, ma anche palloni aereostatici<\/strong>, modellini volanti<\/strong> e perfino aquiloni<\/strong> (!)<\/p>\n

Le immagini sono successivamente scannerizzate tramite scanner ad alta definizione<\/strong> (1800 dpi), e trattate al computer, tramite algoritmi per il bilanciamento del colore e metodi per creare il \u201cmosaico”? che compone la cartina finale.<\/p>\n

Fa riflettere il fatto che in questi ultimi 10 anni l\u2019evoluzione delle tecnologie abbia permesso di creare una cosa partita come mera applicazione di computer graphics, un tempo completamente irrealizzabile.
